GrantForward is a funding opportunity database that offers advanced search capabilities and personalized grant recommendations. Once you establish your profile, GrantForward tracks your publications and suggests relevant grant opportunities. Anyone with a JHED is able to create an account through JHU single sign-on.
Below are some steps to get started with GrantForward.
Single Sign On (Recommended): Go to GrantForward and click the Log In button. Type in your JHU email address. The platform will detect your affiliation and a single sign-on link will appear. Once you authenticate, your account will be created automatically.
Manual Sign Up: Go to GrantForward and register using your JHU email address. Select your User Type (student, researcher, or staff) so the system can tailor filter settings for grant search and recommendations.
A complete and updated profile allows GrantForward to provide personalized recommendations based on your research interests.
You can either build your profile manually, connect your account to a professional page such as GoogleScholar, or select an auto-generated profile that you can claim, review, and edit.
To create a saved search, visit the Grant Search page, enter keywords and apply filters, then click Save/Load (top right corner) to save and set up periodic email alerts.
Visit Recommendations to view opportunities aligned with your interests.
